Source: New Zealand Police (District News) Police are now able to name the man whose body was recovered from the Tekapo Canal on Wednesday 10 March. He was 61-year-old Steven Kenneth Stratford of Ashburton. The matter has been referred to the Coroner. Police has expressed its condolences to Mr Stratford’s family following this tragic event. ENDS
