Augusta County Clerk of Circuit Court R. Steven Landes announced this week that Ramona Shelton and Ben Allen have been named clerk’s interns for the summer. These two young people are third set of students to be selected for the Clerk’s Office Internship Program.
“Our office is very pleased to have both Ramona and Ben join the Clerk’s Office as our first summer interns selected as part of our ongoing Clerk’s Office Internship Program,” Landes said. “We look forward to having both students serving in the office this summer.”

Even though Wyatt Aldhizer finished up his last assignment at Stuarts Draft High School more than a week ago, it is still difficult to believe that high school is over. He submitted an English paper a week ago Wednesday and that was it.
Now, all he has left to do is walk across the stage Saturday at James Madison University s Bridgeforth Stadium and receive his diploma. I was just telling my parents yesterday how it doesn t feel like I m graduating, said Stuarts Draft s salutatorian. I still feel like I have school work to do. I ve been so school, school, school so much over these last four years, it doesn t seem real to think that I m done and I m on to the next four. It s crazy to think that.
