Two Suspects Arrested In Robbery Case L-R: Corry Tolliver and Pamela Wingfield Courtesy of Statesville Police Department Two Suspects Arrested In Robbery Case May 19, 2021 45-year-old Corry Tolliver and 56-year-old Pamela Wingfield were arrested Monday (May 17) by Statesville Police Officers. They’re each charged with felony counts of common law robbery and larceny. On Saturday (May 15) at approximately 6:00 a.m., Statesville Police Officers responded to Sheetz on Wilkesboro Highway in reference to a reported robbery. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with the clerk, who said the suspect entered the store and asked how to get to the Fifth Street Shelter. The clerk, using a notepad, started writing down the directions. The suspect asked the clerk if he could use the notepad, to which the clerk handed him a sheet of paper from the pad.

Teenager Charged In Connection To Fatal Shooting Terrell Quaderius Powell Teenager Charged In Connection To Fatal Shooting May 7, 2021 17-year-old Terrell Quaderius Powell of Statesville was arrested Wednesday (May 5) by Statesville Police Officers. He’s charged with first-degree murder. As WHKY previously reported, last Thursday, April 29, at approximately 6 p.m., the Statesville Police Department responded to a report of an individual being shot at 1221 Fourth Street. Officers found 21-year-old Naseem Wilkes behind an abandoned residence. Mr. Wilkes was fatally shot. An investigation into the homicide was launched by the Statesville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. During the investigation, investigators obtained evidence and statements from witnesses which resulted in Terrell Quaderius Powell being identified as the suspect.

He’s charged with attempted first-degree murder, felony counts of discharge a weapon into occupied property and conspiracy, and misdemeanor counts of carrying a concealed gun and discharging a firearm in the city. 35-year-old Sheena Leannetta Chambers of Clayton was also arrested in this case and charged with felony conspiracy and misdemeanor simple assault.
