Allegedly intoxicated man crashes amid East Cleveland Police pursuit, report says East Cleveland Police Department (Source: WOIO) By Avery Williams | February 27, 2021 at 10:02 AM EST - Updated February 27 at 10:26 AM EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - East Cleveland Police arrested a 33-year-old man accused of driving under the influence early Saturday morning after he fled police and crashed into a curb and pillar amid a pursuit, a police report said. David Kendricks, of Berea, was cited for failing to obey traffic control device, passing left of center, display of a license plate, failing to wear a seatbelt, reckless operation, driving under suspension, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failing to comply with the order of a police officer, according to a police report.

Chill thieves make off with hotel air conditioners: Independence Police Blotter Updated Feb 01, 2021; Theft: West Creek Road Representatives from the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel reported the theft of two air conditioning units at 9:43 a.m. Jan. 17. The units had been placed in the outdoor pool area behind the building while awaiting repairs. The units were found missing with the two plastic covers left behind. There were no witnesses to the theft or any suspects at the time of the report. Warrant: Quarry Lane Police responded to a call about an unwanted guest at the DoubleTree Hotel at 10:43 a.m. Jan. 15 and found that the suspect had outstanding warrants out of the Strongsville Police Department and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office.
