Starting on Monday, the hospital foundation launched its latest effort – a monthly 50/50 fundraiser draw – to encourage community support for the foundation’s ongoing initiative to purchase as many as 123 new standard and specialized hospital beds, each of which costs anywhere from $10,000 for a standard bed to as much as $65,000 for a bariatric or intensive-care bed.
