Coroner IDs man found dead in Strasburg parking lot; man s wife charged with homicide

His recently estranged wife, according to police, is charged with killing him. Mitchell C. Bewley, 27, of Quarryville, was found shot to death in the PNC parking lot in Strasburg Sunday evening, according to the Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni.  Danielle Bewley, 29, was charged with homicide and arrested after an hours-long standoff with police in the couple s Quarryville home.  The couple was married in 2019 in New Providence, according to Lancaster County records.  Mitchell s body was found 13 miles away from the couple s home, which they rented on Locust Lane, a 0.9-mile stretch of blacktop that connects Blackburn and Puseyville roads.  Danielle Bewley, 29, was arrested after an hours-long standoff with police at her home in Quarryville after her husband was found shot dead in a PNC Bank parking lot on North Decatur Street in Strasburg on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021. Details emerge about Sunday night s deadly shooting in Strasburg, Lancaster County

Updated: 2:13 PM EST February 17, 2021 LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. The Lancaster County woman accused of shooting her estranged husband to death in a Strasburg parking lot Sunday night allegedly admitted to friends and family that she had put four bullets in her husband and was on her way home to put one more in her head, according to the criminal complaint affidavit filed by Strasburg Borough Police. Danielle Elizabeth Bewley, 29, of Quarryville, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. Sunday after a standoff with police at her Locust Lane home.  She allegedly shot and killed her estranged husband, Mitchell Bewley, in the parking lot of a PNC Bank on N. Decatur St. in Strasburg hours earlier.
