Green Bay Police Hold LGBTQ Inclusiveness Training Ahead of Pride Month By Rob Sussman

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) Green Bay Police participated in an Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer inclusiveness training session earlier this week.
Police Commander Kevin Warych says the officers got a run down on issues facing LGBTQ people and how police should interact with the community. It included a section about personal pronoun use for transgender people.
“Now, if you would’ve asked me 19 years ago, when I started up, what a person’s pronouns were, I would not be able to answer that question,” said Warych. “I’d be able to answer that question in 2021.”
