SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. State transportation officials on Tuesday reopened the crucial Snoqualmie Pass after a winter weather system dumped several inches of snow and brought blizzard-like conditions to the area, prompting the closure of Interstate 90 Monday night, a closure that stretched for several hours.
Both lanes of the interstate were reopened shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
For people at the Snoqualmie Pass ski resort, it was a race to get off the mountain Monday evening.
