Springfield SAINT: Your High-Value AR-15 Back in 2016, Springfield Armory released its SAINT line of AR-15s. The collection included AR pistols, standard rifles, and short-barreled rifles as well. Some were offered in different calibers, but most focused on the tried-and-true 5.56. The baseline model was simply called
SAINT. The next step up was called
SAINT Victor, and the top-tier package was called The premise behind the packages was to offer high-value guns right out of the box, with no-frills upgrades needed. I recently got the opportunity to test the SAINT. We ended up on quite a journey together, but I came away with a good understanding of the rifle and appreciation for the quality it represents.

14 Red Dot Ready Pistols You Must See
From milled slides to optics-included packages, these pistol options are all red-dot sight ready. December 20, 2018 By James Tarr
People have been mounting red dot sights on pistols since the 1980s, but because of optic size and their relatively delicate nature, they were really only suitable for competition. Over the last 10 years, red dot sights have gotten small and robust enough to be suitable for use on carry/defensive handguns.
Just how “in” are red dot-sighted pistols? I’ve attempted to include all the production handguns offered from manufacturers either equipped from the factory with red dots or set up to immediately mount one, and it wouldn’t surprise me if I’ve overlooked a few (such as Kimber’s Aegis Elite Pro (OI) and Super Jägare, covered elsewhere in this issue). B&T Announces Station SIX Suppressed Pistol With a direct ode to the British Welrod of World War II behind the lines in occupied Europe fame, B&T USA has a new pistol inbound for those seeking some quiet time. The Station SIX (Silenced Project caliber 9) pistol gets its name from the WWII-era Station IX of the Special Operations Executive. The SOE, often referred to as Winston Churchill s Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, was formed in mid-1940 at a time when the British stood alone against the Axis. It was tasked with coaching irregular warfare units behind the German lines. One of the group s odd guns was the almost totally suppressed .32 ACP Welrod pistol, designed at Station IX by the SOE s Inter-Services Research Bureau.

Surefire XSC Micro-Compact Pistol Light: First Look
Small, lightweight and purpose-built for sub-compact carry guns, Surefire s XSC pistol light takes on the EDC illumination segment. September 10, 2020 By Jeremy Stafford
Before I begin discussing Surefire s new XSC, let me first acknowledge the no-compromise carry crew. I already know that there is shrill chorus in the background chanting, “Just carry a medium- or large-frame pistol with an X300,” but I’m just happy that untold tens of thousands of gun owners are carrying, regardless of what they are carrying. Armed citizens exist in record numbers, which is a very good thing. We can all agree, a compact gun on the belt beats a full-size pistol left in the safe any day.
