Alex Rodriguez, Marc Lore In Talks to Buy Timberwolves

ESPN is reporting A-Rod and the Staten Island born Lore would buy the team for around $1.5 billion. The two would not take control until 2023. Both put out a joint statement saying they re excited. “..the talented team and their incredible fans.” Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) April 10, 2021 A-Rod was looking to buy the Mets before it was sold to Steve Cohen. Lore was the president and CEO of Walmart U.S. Commerce before stepping down this year.

Two Men Facing Charges for Bronx Shooting By Spectrum News Staff The Bronx UPDATED 4:45 PM ET Apr. 04, 2021 PUBLISHED 11:38 PM ET Apr. 03, 2021 PUBLISHED 11:38 PM EDT Apr. 03, 2021 SHARE Thirty-two-year-old Hassan Maxwell of the Bronx and 22-year-old Kejaun Dehaney of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania are facing murder charges after a shooting incident in the Bronx Saturday evening which left one person dead and two others injured, according to the NYPD. The NYPD says officers arrived at East 166th Street and College Avenue in Morrisania where Maxwell and Dehaney were shooting at a third man as he tried to get away.  According to police, the officers fired at the gunmen.

Police Seek Man in Connection With Alleged Anti-Asian Attack

By Spectrum News Staff Manhattan PUBLISHED 10:03 PM ET Apr. 03, 2021 PUBLISHED 10:03 PM EDT Apr. 03, 2021 SHARE Police are searching for a man they say is wanted in connection with an anti-Asian hate crime, this time on board a southbound 5 train in Manhattan. Authorities say it happened as the train was pulling into the 42nd Street-Times Square station while operating on the 3 line Tuesday afternoon. Police say the man yelled anti-Asian slurs at a 44-year-old woman and her three children, and then started spitting in their direction.  According to police, the man then knocked the woman s phone out of her hand and proceeded to kick it out of the back door of the subway car onto the tracks as the train was still moving.
