The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has appointed Ms Suzanne Gaboury as Director-General of its Private Sector Operations Department. Ms Gaboury assumed office in early January.
As an American, I watched the violent assault on our Capitol on January 6 with dismay and disappointment. The actions we witnessed are unacceptable and, in many cases, criminal. Violence has no place anywhere. I do believe we will work through our present divisions and will continue to strive for liberty, freedom and justice in the United States, here in Ireland, and around the world.
For those of us privileged to serve at the US Embassy in Dublin, these principles will continue to inspire us and guide our work. A new administration will be inaugurated on January 20, but regardless of what party or individual is in office, I know for certain that America’s relationship with Ireland will continue to prosper.

The new two-year part-time EMBA will begin in August 2021
, and requires just two days attendance each month. (All in-person attendance decisions will be guided by Irish government health guidelines.) During these contact hours, students will develop leadership skills, boost career prospects, and broaden their network while applying what they ve learned to their current workplace in real-time.
These two days where students are required to be on campus, or in class virtually, are supplemented by week-long modules. Students will also undertake a term foundation at the start of each term to introduce modules as well as complete four hours per module online. This flexibility allows for students to plan in advance for their course, professional and personal commitments, making the juggle between work, life, and learning that bit smoother.
