The Highway Patrol reports 27 year old Devin Gibbons of New London was driving southbound. The pedestrian, 20 year old Nathaniel Blackford of Mary Esther, Florida was skateboarding southbound in the northbound lane, drifted into the southbound lane and ran into the side of the Gibbons van.
Blackford was taken first to Hannibal Regional Hospital, then transferred by Life Flight to University Hospital in Columbia.

Two are hurt, one seriously, in a motorcycle crash on Highway 168 east of Palmyra in Marion County at 6:35 p.m. Friday.
The Highway Patrol reports 40 year old Joseph Sodari of Palmyra was eastbound when his motorcycle struck a dog in the road, ejecting both Sodari and his passenger, 37 year old Joy Williams of Liberty, from the bike.
Both Sodari and Williams were taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment. Williams suffered serious injuries. Sodari’s injuries were described as minor.
