Delhi-UP Ghazipur border on Thursday remained tensed, where the farmers are staging protests against the Centre s three farm laws for over two months. The Ghaziabad administration has given an ultimatum to the protesters to vacate the site by tonight but the farmer leaders have refused to leave the area and said they won t be intimidated.

New Delhi, Jan 29 : Delhi Police fired tear gas shells and also resorted to mild lathi-charge on Friday after the Delhi-Haryana s Singhu border witnessed clashes between the agitating farmers and the locals, who wanted the area to be cleared immediately.
Hundreds of locals arrived at the famers protest site and things came to blows as they demanded the area to be vacated by the agitators who have been at the site for more than two months.

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Friday resorted to lathi-charge and firing of tear gas shells as they tried to quell a mob of hundreds of villagers at the Delhi-Haryana s Singhu border where agitating farmers came under an attack by the locals, who wanted the area to be cleared immediately.
The Congress on the other hand has called the villagers as thugs mobilised by the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP).
