Chandigarh, April 22 : Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday said adequate arrangements have been made to ensure uninterrupted supply of medicines, oxygen and other facilities to the Covid-19 patients.
As a precaution, he said the state has decided to close shops dealing in non-essential items in crowded markets from 6 p.m. from April 23.
On the shortage of oxygen supply in the hospitals, he told the media here that the problem has been resolved. I have even held detailed discussion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this issue, Khattar said.

Putting an end to the ongoing lockdown rumours, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said that no lockdown would be imposed in the state.
The Chief Minister urged the labourers and workers to remain relaxed and keep doing their work. There is no need to panic, he said.
Khattar was interacting with people of the state today during the “Haryana ki Baat” programme held through live telecast.
“To ensure adequate medical arrangement for the Covid-19 patients, the state government has recently held discussion with the DRDO officials for setting up a 500-1000 bedded dedicated COVID hospital in Panipat,” informed the Chief Minister.

Gurugram, April 21 : Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Yash Garg on Wednesday said that the Covid situation is completely under control here as he ruled out clamping a fresh lockdown.
Garg warned shopkeepers of strict action if they were found selling commodities at prices higher than the MRP. The district administration is monitoring the arrangements related to Covid infection in Gurugram and no one will be allowed to take advantage of this situation. We have received complaints against some shopkeepers who have increased the prices of food items and medicines. Taking cognizance of such reports, officials have been instructed to raid such shopkeepers, Garg said.
