New Delhi [India], February 14 (ANI): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has demanded that Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar take action against state Agriculture Minister Jai Prakash Dalal after the latter said that 200 farmers died during the ongoing protests would have died anywhere. BSP believes in the Constitution and does not support violence anywhere. There is no place for violence during any kind of protest. The Constitution and democracy allow peaceful protests. But Chief Minister of HaryanaManohar Lal Khattar should also speak about his minister who is abusing the death of farmers during agitation. The Chief Minister should also tell the whole country and should take action against his minister, BSP national spokesperson Sudhindra Bhadoria told ANI.
The Kisan Mahapanchayat will start from February 14 in Karnal, Rohtak, Sirsa and Hisar districts of Haryana, in Rajasthan's Sikar and Maharashtra's Akola. These meetings will begin on February 14 and will culminate on February 23.

As the standoff between the protesting farmer unions and the central government over farm laws continues, Ajay Chautala, father of JJP founder and Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, has said that he has his son’s resignation letter in his pocket and “can give it immediately” if it helps resolve the matter.
He also took a dig at brother Abhay Chautala s resignation, saying the resignation of any minister, or that of the Deputy CM won’t resolve the issue but “if it serves any purpose, I would not take a minute”.
Haryana Chief Minister today met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and apprised him about dharnas and mahapanchayats organised by farmers in the state.
