This comes as Fort Bend ISD once again is closing some schools and opening others. The district also sent an email to parents on Friday saying if their student is falling behind in their studies and grades, they will require them to come and learn face-to-face. That s become something on the top of school officials minds as they work to stop the spread of the virus while keeping up with the educational needs of the community. Nine Fort Bend ISD schools will move to virtual learning on Monday. That s three more campuses than last week. Those schools plan to continue with online learning until at least Feb. 5, the district said.

Some Ft Bend Schools Switching to Online Learning

By Sally Adams Feb 1, 2021 More Fort Bend ISD schools will move to online learning this week. They are: Austin High School, Barbara Jordan Elementary, and Oakland Elementary. Other schools like James Patterson Elementary, Oyster Creek Elementary, Madden Elementary, Hodges Bend Middle School, Christa McAuliffe Middle School and Dulles High School and Dulles High School will continue with online learning. Pecan Grove Elementary, Ridgemont Elementary, Ridgemont Early Learning Center, Travis High School, Willowridge High School and the James Reese Career and Technical Center will have face-to-face instruction with students going back to campus tomorrow, Monday, February 1, 2021.
