A man is dead and a woman is hurt after a shootout in the parking lot of Fort Bend ISD's Ridgemont Elementary School in southwest Houston.

Two Fort Bend ISD educators have received national recognition for their work in science education, according to a FBISD news release.

First Colony Middle School principal Courtney Muceus and Ridgemont Elementary principal Framy Diaz were named Fort Bend ISD’s 2023 Principals of the Year, according to a FBISD news release.
