The Hancock County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at 9:15 am which will allow the public to voice their opinion on the installation of anhydrous storage tanks in the Bingham Township. The board wants to hear from residents about their concerns over the installation. Those who wish to make a statement or offer an opinion can call (571) 317-3112 and use the access code 236 415 109.
At 9:30 am, Hancock County Engineer Jeremy Purvis will address the board about any issues with the county secondary roads. Projects, both now and in the future may also be addressed.

The Hancock County Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday with the pressing issue regarding carpet installation and when the office movers will arrive. The county courthouse is undergoing a remodeling at taxpayer expense to improve all offices, work on basement bathrooms, and fix building issues .
The board will hear from Hancock County Engineer Jeremy Purvis concerning the current state of secondary roads. He will discuss the need for bidders on specific projects and review current ones. He will also discuss the need for new windows in the Engineering Offices downstairs.
Drainage will consist of initial plans for Drainage District 1 and 2’s South Main. They will look into setting a date for the opening of bids and awarding of a contract.
Hancock County will soon be glowing even brighter, after its Board of Supervisors approved resolution 2021-014 for Alliant Energy to illuminate 6 intersections. Hancock County Engineer Jeremy Purvis tells about the new lighting project with Alliant.

The Hancock County Board of Supervisors will be discussing a number of projects and real estate issues in their meeting on Monday morning. The first of these has to do with the property that is being considered for purchase for a future county maintenance shed. Supervisor Jerry Tlach explains that a 9:30 am public hearing is necessary to allow for Hancock County residents to voice their opinion.
The board will hear the opinions of the public and then consider a resolution for final determination on purchasing the land in section 27 of the Britt Township. Those who want to voice an opinion on the land purchase during the hearing can call (408) 650-3123 Access Code: 253-538-517.

The Hancock County Board of Supervisors will meet today beginning at 9 am with a review of the Fiscal Year 2021-22 budgets. The meeting will open with Sandy Mirales of the Winnebago-Hancock-Worth (WHW) Social Services who will discuss the need to help fund the mental health services programs in the county and in the region that the county belongs to. Then at 9:15 am, Gerald Edgars of the Hancock County Veterans Affairs Department will ask for an allocation for his budget.
