Three vehicle crash on A36 between Wellow and Ower

The incident happened on the A36 between Wellow and Ower yesterday (Sunday, May 23) afternoon. A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: At 2.16pm on Sunday, 23 May officers were called to a three vehicle collision on the A36 at Ower. The vehicles involved were a blue Toyota Auris, a grey Toyota Auris and a grey BMW X2. A tweet posted at the time of the incident by Hampshire Roads Policing Unit said: We are currently dealing with a three vehicle road traffic collision on the A36 between Wellow and Ower. Minor injuries, thankfully. However, the road is currently blocked whilst we facilitate recovery. Please avoid the area.

Charles Watts Way blocked near Peter Cooper Motor Group in Hedge End

By Tom Orde Crime and court reporter A car has flipped over on Charles Watts Way in Hedge End. Picture: Rebecca Fry. A CAR has flipped over blocking a major route between Southampton and Hedge End. Charles Watts Way is currently blocked near the Tollbar Way roundabout. A car flipped on to its roof at around 10am this morning. Paramedics have treated one person for minor injuries at the scene. According to police, only one vehicle was involved. Emergency services at the scene work to reopen Charles Watts Way, Hedge End Emergency services are now working to reopen the road.

Traffic busy on M27 after slip road crash closes two lanes. UPDATE: The crash has now been cleared but delays remain.  MOTORISTS are being advised to use different routes after a crash on a motorway slip road. Two lanes are currently closed on the M27 westbound carriageway.  This is due to a crash which has taken place on the slip road at Junction Three (M271).  One lane is still open but motorists are being warned that traffic is very busy . There is said to be 25 minute delays currently from Junction Five for Eastleigh. Police officers are on the scene are are advising for people to use alternative routes if possible.
