MARSHALL, Texas Early Thursday morning, Marshall Police and Harrison County Emergency Response Teams (ERT) jointly executed a “Narcotic Search Warrant” in Marshall that resulted in the arrest of one man.
The search warrant came after an investigation conducted by the Violent Crime and Drug Task Force, which included the Marshall Police Department, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, and the Harrison County District Attorney’s Office.
Police arrived at 535 Liberty Church Road in Marshall and searched the resident. The search revealed a significant amount of narcotics, a firearm, and U.S. currency.
Lekendrick Jones was located at the residence and placed under arrest for possession of controlled substances and possession of controlled substances.

MARSHALL, Texas (KLTV) - A midnight shooting in Marshall on Sunday left one man dead and the suspect on the run.
According to a statement by the Marshall Police Department, a few minutes after midnight on Sunday, Marshall Emergency Communications received multiple calls reporting a shooting incident at a Wendy’s restaurant located on East End Blvd. North in Marshall. Responding officers located a black Honda sedan with the front passenger door open near the dumpsters. There was one individual partially in the vehicle and two individuals seated next to the dumpster.

Man fatally shot by Gulfport police used FaceTime during stabbing attack, family says Margaret Baker, The Sun Herald
Feb. 11 Cemon Mack is just glad her daughter is alive.
In the early-morning hours Thursday, she learned her daughter had been repeatedly stabbed by her boyfriend at their red brick home on David Street.
Her daughter, D quarius Eckford, 36, had various stab wounds to the face, head, arm and neck.
The assault ended shortly after Gulfport police officers got to the home and fatally shot the suspect.
In a news release, police said the 911 call came in at 1:40 a.m. as a report of domestic dispute.
