HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) â Back in July, local leaders came together with a common goal of slowing the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
âBe Vigilant for the Valleyâ is led by Harrisonburg Mayor Deanna Reed, Harrisonburg City Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Richards, and Laura Toni-Holsinger of the local United Way.
âIf there was ever an example of âwhat I do impacts you,â this is it,â Toni-Holsinger said. âItâs looking out for one another, itâs being vigilant about keeping up with what the CDC recommendations are, and knowing that nobody is without sacrifice.â
