PCT4: Two killed when Tesla catches fire after crashing into tree in Spring Chloe Alexander Replay Video UP NEXT Two people were killed Saturday night in a fiery crash involving a Tesla, according to Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman. Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said there were two passengers in the Model S Tesla, but neither one of them was driving the vehicle. One person was in the front passenger seat and the other person was in the backseat, Herman said.  At some point, the Tesla, which deputies said was traveling at a high rate of speed, crashed into a tree. The car then burst into flames.
