A firefighter was injured after falling from an apartment building while responding to a fire that spread through eight units.
13 residents were displaced from 7 apartment units, the 8th unit was vacant. @hcfmo is investigating.
The @RedCrossTXGC is providing assisting to the displaced families.
Crews were alerted to the apartment fire in the 6400 block of York Meadows on Sunday evening, according to the Cy-Fair Fire Department.
Firefighters worked to put out the flames and smoke that was coming from the roof of the building, authorities said.

Firefighters were called to the area just before 6:30 p.m. when the fire erupted in the trailer, said the Channelview Fire Department.
CPR was administered to a man and a woman inside the trailer, and they were both taken to a nearby hospital, according to the Harris County Fire Marshal s Office.

Firefighter injured battling 1-alarm fire in NW Houston

HOUSTON - One firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor burns to his hands as crews were battling a 1-alarm fire in northwest Houston on Sunday.
According to Captain Arizpe with the Cy-Fair Fire Department, the fire was located on the 6700 block of Satsuma Drive.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene where the fire was contained to a home attached to a warehouse.
