Police say the 35-year-old held an expired learner permit and had been disqualified from driving. Highway Patrol officers detected a Holden Commodore speeding on the M1 motorway at Mooney Mooney around 11.20pm on Sunday night. When the driver failed to stop, a pursuit was initiated. The car was allegedly speeding above 200km/h in a 110km/h zone during the pursuit. A short time later the car stopped after crashing into a concrete barrier. The car was carrying a 28-year-old woman, two boys aged seven months and five years, and a 3-year-old girl. All were taken to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead to be checked, with the girl treated for bruising.
