A man who studied at an agricultural university, which is based near a town in Shropshire, has gone on trial accused of rape.

William Saunders, who is now 24 years old, has denied two charges of rape and attempted rape against a woman. The offences are alleged to have taken place in 2018, when he was a student at Harper Adams University, near Newport.

She moves from her role as marketing assistant for a machinery dealer where she gained valuable experience but responded at once to the vacancy with the society as her long-term goal has always been to work within the livestock sector.
