Tribute to Teachers: Nominate a deserving South Florida teacher

Tribute to Teachers: Nominate a deserving South Florida teacher Deadline for entries is May 3 Published:  Updated:  Tags:  It’s time to pay our Tribute to Teachers. The popular Local 10 campaign has launched with the nomination phase now open. After COVID-19 forced school closures and remote learning in 2020, teachers stepped up to make the transition as smooth as possible. We received an overwhelming number of submissions last year, and we expect the same this year as both in-person and hybrid learning are the new normal for educators. Teachers come up with creative ways to keep students engaged, give praise without asking for the same in return and many times dip into their own pockets to buy classroom supplies. Now, it’s time to say thank you in a special way.
