HINSDALE, IL – The Hinsdale High School District 86 board gave the public no notice that it planned to vote last fall on the superintendent s recommendation for the schools to go entirely remote for two weeks.
At the time, Patch wrote a story looking into the issue about why the board failed to provide notice, which is required under the state s open meetings law. The district defended the handling of the vote.

HINSDALE, IL Both Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills saw 10 percent jumps in the number of coronavirus cases since the beginning of the pandemic, according to county health authorities.
As of Sunday, Hinsdale has seen 884 coronavirus cases, up by 79 from a week earlier. The number of Hinsdale cases is more than double that of early October.
Meanwhile, Clarendon Hills reached 493 on Sunday, up 44 from a week before. The total number of cases is nearly three times that of early October.
