BRAINTREE, MA Two new Braintree police officers were sworn on Monday night, Chief Mark Dubois announced.
Officers Kevin St. Ives and Christopher Dominguez were sworn in by Mayor Charles Kokoros during a private ceremony at the Braintree Police Department.
St. Ives came to Braintree from the Boston University Police Department, where he worked as a police officer for nearly 20 years. He was recently promoted to sergeant at BU and held many special assignments and positions, including field training officer, rape aggression defense instructor and first responder and CPR instructor and was part of the motorcycle unit and bicycle unit.

The clerk was taken to Tampa General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
