St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in Madison is offering $5,000 for information leading to an arrest after the nonprofit said a dog was found abandoned in the cold in Irvington and had to have his leg amputated.
The organization’s animal control officer found the dog in the evening on Jan. 23 outside an apartment complex on the corner of North Maple Avenue and Eastern Parkway, the nonprofit said. Rescuers named the dog Lux.
