KINGSTON, N.Y. â A final plan for the Henry Street âSafe Routes to Schoolâ project is being ironed out for submission to the state Department of Transportation, a city official said.
Summer Smith, director of city communication and community engagement, said the final plan should be completed next year.
âThe analysis is complete and the draft report with recommendations are being prepared this winter,â Smith said in an email this week. âWe expect to have the report in the second quarter of 2021.â
The Henry Street Safe Routes to School project aims to provide safe accommodations for pedestrians and bicyclists along Henry Street.
