Adverse weather postpones MVHS vaccinations
Adverse winter weather has caused the delay of Thursday’s vaccinations at the Mohawk Valley Health System s vaccination POD (point of distribution) at 1710 Burrstone Road, MVHS officials said Wednesday in a statement.
Thursday’s vaccinations are being rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 22, with the same times. Those with appointments will be sent an email with the new appointment information, officials said.
More information on the vaccine can be found on the Mohawk Valley Regional Vaccination Network website: mvhealthsystem.org/vaccine-network.
Oneida County numbers
Oneida County reported three new coronavirus related deaths and 31 new cases Wednesday, according to a statement from the county.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced earlier this month that people with comorbidities would be eligible to receive the vaccine beginning Monday, Feb. 15, 2021.
