Badruddin Ajmal
GUWAHATI: Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday accused perfume baron, Badruddin Ajmal, of taking money from foreign institutions on the pretext of social service and creating an environment that posed a threat to Assamese culture.
Calling himself an ‘extremist’, Sarma said he is determined to protect the Indian and Assamese culture from invasion by illegal migrants patronised by the “institution in AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal.”
“This is probably the most dangerous phase of Assam politics. Ajmal, the enemy of Assam, is bringing money from fundamentalist organisations. In the name of social service, he is creating a network, which is not conducive to Assamese culture,” the minister claimed.
