Photo courtesy: NHTSA Kia is recalling thousands of SUVs and cars for the second time to fix a problem that could cause engine fires. The company is recalling certain Optima sedans from 2013 to 2015 and Sorento SUVs from 2014 to 2015. These vehicles are said to have a possible electrical short in the Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit that increases the risk of a fire while driving and while parked, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. The NHTSA posted the same recall in August 2020 for these vehicles.
