Havre Public Schools holding summer learning program
Staff and wire report In the wake of remote learning and reduced in-class learning days during the COVID-19 pandemic, Havre Public Schools is holding a summer learning program for elementary and middle school students starting June 7. Participating students will have the opportunity to receive breakfast on site and will be able to take lunch in a grab-and-go fashion. Transportation will be provided by Havre Public Schools if necessary, a letter to parents from Superintendent Craig Mueller said. Mueller told Havre Daily News that Havre High School will have its usual summer school, utilizing Montana Digital Academy.

Havre Police Department Someone stopped at the police station Monday at 1:28 p.m. to speak with an officer about Social Security number fraud. A caller reported Monday at 1:47 p.m. that a car hit a pole on Lincoln Avenue. A 2:10 p.m. Monday caller at Highland Park Early Primary School reported someone backed into a vehicle.
Hill County Sheriff s Office An arrest was made on a warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Monday at 6:09 p.m., but no details were provided.
