DeKALB – NIU announced Monday there are no additional COVID-19 cases, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Monday, no Huskies are currently COVID-19 positive and three have recovered.
Employees who aren’t vaccinated and work on campus in Housing and Residential Services, Campus Dining Services, the Child Development and Family Center, Human Resource Services and the Holmes Student Center are required to take a weekly surveillance test during the summer.
NIU administered 111 COVID-19 tests during the week of Aug. 2 for surveillance testing. The positivity rate was 0%, with no positive results recorded, according to surveillance testing data.
