(Enterprise photo â Carrie Gentile) TUPPER LAKE After eight months of rigorous chemotherapy, village Trustee Clint Hollingsworth said Wednesday that his cancer is now in remission, and he thanked the community for its support during what has been a tough year in his life. In September he was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer, two months before he ran for reelection to the village board and won. He underwent a series of chemotherapy treatments six before December and six more after. A scan on April 12 detected no signs of cancer in his esophagus, lymph nodes or liver, and he has been deemed to be in remission, he said.
