Norwich A man who was wanted in a fatal shooting here last year has been arrested in North Carolina and returned to Connecticut, city police said in a news release late Tuesday night.
Phillip C. Wise, 40, with a last known address of 37 Lake St., Norwich, faces a murder charge, police said.
Officers responded to a reported shooting July 21, 2020, on Lake Street, in which 39-year-old Anthony Lashawn Williams was killed. Police identified Wise as a suspect during the investigation and maintain that the shooting appeared to be a targeted attack against Williams.
