Detailed description is The 1 to 5 Club is a program of the Utah Pride Center designed to reach out to Utahns who identify under the sexually fluid umbrella, including bi/pan/ace.
The 1 to 5 Club is a program of the Utah Pride Center designed to reach out to the sexually fluid communities of Utah, including those who identify as bisexual, pansexual, asexual, and beyond.

Our mission is to strive to create safe spaces at the intersection of our sexual, gender, ability, and racial identities..

The 1 to 5 Club aims to teach each other about our communities; provide access for the sexually fluid communities of Utah to social opportunities, networking opportunities, and peer supported conversations; and to actively interrogate and confront the interacting systems of oppression impacting our individual experiences..

The 1 to 5 Club meets weekly, every Monday from 7:30-9:00 at the Utah Pride Center.

The 1st Monday of the month, hosted by Rowan and Dan, is a game night.
It's your chance to get out of the house and go be social in a safe space.
Bring your games, bring your music, and come get to know your fellow 1 to 5ers..

The 2nd Monday will remain our peer support group, supported by Dylan.
They have been leading the group for over a year and have fostered a space where people truly feel comfortable coming to share whatever needs they have..

The 3rd Monday is now our Radical Reading group! Take note, this is something we've been working to put together since the conference following the feedback YOU gave us.
The group, hosted by Dylan, will focus on different articles related to racial justice, intersectionality, and more.
This is designed to make us break out of our boxes, out of our usual modes of thinking, and push us farther in our own conversations.
This is our chance to educate ourselves so that we can educate others..

The 4th Monday remains our discussion group.
Hosted now by Kenan, the group will continue to focus on issues that impact our ace/sexually fluid community and those discussion topics are voted on by those in the Facebook group..

And now, for the 5th Mondays! 2017 has 5 Mondays and we want to make sure that those days are not missed.
Kenan and Shauna will be hosting writing and art workshops to help foster creativity in our community..

As always, the Monday meetings are from 7:30-9:00 at the Utah Pride Center (unless noted in the event tab)..

In addition, we will be continuing our monthly brunches at Squatters and adding a monthly coffee as well.
When the weather gets warmer, the picnics will return!.
