Serving Coweta, Fayette, Spalding, & Pike History/background: A-OK Heating And cooling was started in 1972 by Mike Swenson, originally located in stone mountain GA.
Since 1972 we've specialized in sales, service, and installation of commercial and residential Heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) (we no longer work on household appliances, stoves & refrigerators etc.) .
In 1994 Mike passed the business down to his oldest son, David Swenson.
Soon after this change, the business grew, a lot topping out at upwards of 70 employees.
This drastic change was brought about by the boom of new home construction here in Georgia.
A-OK typically installed the central Heating and air conditioning systems in around 1,000 new homes per year.
After the infamous 9/11 attacks David made the wise decision of slowly receding out of the new construction market and steadily downsizing.
Today we only have 5 employees including David's oldest son Tyler Swenson who also plans to eventually take over the family business.
As the economy continues to rise, David and Tyler have big plans to start growing the business back to it's former glory with the help of our wonderful customer base..
