The Committee for Inclusive is an unaffiliated group of students committed to the establishment of an Asian American studies minor program (AASP) at Ithaca College.

While IC faculty members have supported an AASP since the creation of the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity (CSCRE) nearly a decade ago, the student-led initiative to establish an AASP began during the Spring of 2011 when three students undertook a documentary entitled "Missing in History," The film narrates the student's struggle to establish an AASP, and presents conversations with real IC students and faculty member from all areas of the identity spectrum.

On March 26, 2012, the students heard news that Ithaca College's provost approved the minor proposal for an AASP.
Although the news certainly merits celebration, the approval does not mean that the AASP has been established nor does it guarantee its establishment.
The curriculum planning process is long and multi-layered.
For the AASP, this means that the Humanities and Sciences Curriculum Planning Committee and the Academic Policies Committee still need to approve the minor program.
