Detailed description is The AP4NP program places DNP and MSN nurse practitioner students in underserved settings that provide primary care to HIV-positive clients.
The purpose of the University of Michigan-Flint AP4NP program is to increase Master in Science of Nursing (MSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) nurse practitioner students' readiness to practice by developing and evaluating academic-practice partnerships that will provide 54 clinical training preceptorships for nurse practitioner students.
The academic partnerships will be located in clinical settings that provide primary care to underserved clients and their families..
