I created this organization with values of respect, integrity, and courage.
My mission is simple: To provide Veterans support services through effective resources and usable information while honoring the sacrifices of those who have served.
Veterans and their families are eligible for these services.
All community members have full access to these resources with intention of providing it to a Veteran.
I believe, everyone knows somones who knows a Veteran.
With due respect, I intend to assist in the process of resolution in varying problems related to military service, transition, and retirement.
I pledge to be accessible and approachable by delivering reliable services and support to all clients.
I do not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, or any factors which distinguish us as unique individuals.
I will honor each case with integrity by protecting its confidential and sensitive information..
I desire service before self, grace before judgment, and continued growth above all else.

The original concept for this organization came through my graduate experience in 2003.
I had recently returned from deployment and began work towards my Masters of Science degree in Child and Family Studies.
I opted to Specialize in Marriage and Family Therapy.
My immediate desire was to work with Veterans and their families.
Although limited in exposure to these respective clients, it became my passion to work towards a future clinic where I could serve this population.
I graduated from Northern Illinois University in December 2005.
I was mobilized and called back to active duty through December 2008.

I served in the United States Army Reserve, the Illinois Army National Guard, and the Illinois Air National Guard for a total of 22 ½ years.
As a Soldier, I understand the unique needs, concerns, and issues of service.
As the spouse of a Soldier, again, I understand the unique needs, concerns, and issues of service.
As a proud parent of children who grew up in a dual military family, I truly understand the unique needs, concerns, and issues of service.
It is a lifelong commitment and impact on the family when one chooses to serve in our Armed Forces.
Whether to make a career in the military or serve initial contract obligations, each and every person who volunteered to service this great nation has made a difference through their own selfless sacrifices.
Through these experiences, I am committed to assist other Veterans and families in maximizing to the fullest potential the benefits of military service.
Regardless of their current status (retired or active), each Veteran who requests support will receive a variety of services unique to their needs..
The main objective of this organization is to provide employment and benefits counseling and support services.
In doing so, many other objectives exist.
It is a primary goal to create partnerships within the local business community.
By doing so, Veterans can receive support in preparing themselves for employment while at the same time, assisting businesses in finding fully qualified individuals.
