MAY 2, 3 & 4, 2016 Walker County Sheriff's Office (AL.), K9 Specialty Services OF Alabama, And Highland K9 are sponsoring A Tactical Tracking Course on May 2,3 and May 4, 2016.
Class times are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.
Highland K9's Master Trainers; Jason Purgason and Corey Archer aree the Instructors..
The Tactical Tracking Class will consist of classroom andd outdoor practical exercises.
Dress will be Tactical Uniform or jeans, T-shirts, and boots.
Dress accordingly for weather conditions..
Equipment needed will be Service weapon, Patrol rifle, and/or Shotgun.There will be 'NO Live Fire', so no ammunition will be needed..
Simulation weapons will be used and will be provided.Tactical exercises will be run with Canine and without Canine.
Teams are enouraged to participate..
A BANQUET TYPE MEAL WILL BE PROVIDED AT NOON ON 3RD MAY AT NO COST TO THE OFFICERS..
ALL OTHER MEALS AND LODGING WILL BE AT THE OFFICERS EXSPENCE'.
THERE WILL BE LODGING AVAILABLE AT THE SPECIAL RATE OF $79.00 PER NIGHT WITH 'NO PET FEE'.
