Detailed description is The Ansonia Fire Department Cadet Program was started in 2009 to provide local teenagers in the surrounding area a opportunity to learn about the fire protection service.
Our cadets learn the basics of firefighting and also learn more advanced activities during their time with the program.
Also during the program, our cadets are allowed to respond on emergency calls with fire personal for the Ansonia Fire Department.
