Detailed description is The Appalachian State University Tuba and Euphonium Studio is a thriving group of students passionate about the lifelong study of music, either through one of the four majors offered (Music Education, Music Industry Studies, Music Performance or Music Therapy) or participation as a non-major.
Comprised of approximately 18 students across all majors, the studio is a close-knit group that values camaraderie, a strong work-ethic and the art of becoming thoughtful and engaged musicians.
Students can be found performing throughout the community and across the state at conferences such as NCMEA, CMS and - most recently - the International Tuba and Euphonium Conference (Knoxville, TN).

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Appalachian State is the scenic home to approximately 18,000 students (undergraduate and graduate).
Students feel at home in the small community of Boone, NC and are enthusiastic about the communal environment within the School of Music and at ASU overall.
