In April 2001, Avalon SalonSpa opened its doors in downtown Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Initially the company began with 10 employees; 4 hair stylists, 4 estheticians, and 2 receptionists.
Within two and half years, the company grew to over 25 employees.
In November 2003, Avalon opened a second location known as Avalon North.
Due to continued Success Avalon managed to outgrow the original south side location and moved to a larger location in February of 2006 with more than 40 employees.

With continuous support from the community in October of 2010 Avalon opened a third location located in the Corbett Center Uptown on Trinity Drive which is their largest location and the Avalon team now consists of more than 80 employees.
With the opening of the third location it allowed Avalon to branch out into a part of Fredericton’s metropolitan that they had never been before and allowed Avalon to extend its clients experience in a different part of the city; Offering the same great service but in a different way with Uptowns location, layout and atmosphere..
Avalon success is due in large part to the community’s continued support.
