For a country too poor for many of its citizens to own shoes, Barefoot Sunday collections in Victoria and surrounding counties helps bring pride and disease-preventing shoe wear to some of the most economically disadvantaged people in the world..

This year, the Barefoot Sunday service will be held on a Sunday morning at Faith Family Church, and will ask attendees to bring as many shoes as you can to the event.

We set a collection goal the first year to collect 1,000 pairs of shoes for Malawians.
But the generosity of South Texas overwhelmed the project, and we collected more than 5,300 pairs!.
