Flutist Elizabeth Maldonado (Delorit) has been performing since 1997 and teaching flute lessons since 2001.
Originally from Grafton, Wisconsin, Beth moved to the Chicago area to attend Northwestern University on a merit scholarship.
At Northwestern, Beth completed her Bachelor and Master of Music in flute performance with the world-renowned Walfrid Kujala, flutist and piccoloist with the Chicago Symphony for nearly 50 years.
In 2008, she received the Walfrid Kujala Scholarship at Northwestern.
Beth participated twice in the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan and appeared with the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra.
Other musical tours have led Beth to Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Slovenia, and Austria.
As a regular member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, she performed under the batons of Riccardo Muti, Bernard Haitink, and Esa-Pekka Salonen.
Beth also served as adjunct professor of flute at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois..
