Big Schott Construction began as a dream when I was a kid growing up on the southside of Indianapolis.
I started "butchering" wood as a small boy because I was always fascinated with building.
At 15, I started working on a framing crew building houses and by the time I was 18, I had enough knowledge to build an entire house.
I did build a house for my parents in the form of an "A" frame, weekend getaway on their 5 acres in western Indiana.
Since that time, I have built custom furniture, restored historical houses, built custom and pre-fab homes, worked in a joinery, cutting massively elegant timber frames and just about everything in between.
Working with wood, building, remodeling, and all that it entails is truly my passion.
I have an eye for detail that will not disappoint my customers..
