Detailed description is The Unite the Bight Community Park Partnership is proud to announce that we have been awarded a Let Them Be Kids Helping Hands Award The Project.

Bishop White is a K-Level III school in Port Rexton, Newfoundland and Labrador that has a population of 114 students and serves twelve communities.
The school and community with assistance from Let Them Be Kids, businesses and community support will be designing and building an outside play/recreational area on the school grounds..

The project requires an investment of time, talents and treasure (monetary and in-kind) to enhance the existing space to become a school and community area.
We envision that our project over the short and long term will have the following components:.

• playground.
• community garden.
• outdoor classroom/performance area.
• walking track/adult fitness equipment.
• softball/soccer field area and.
• memorial park to remember former teachers, students and community heroes (soldiers who lost their lives in war).

*Final decisions as to the actual ideas of the outdoor space will be determined by all relevant stakeholders, including teachers, students, and community partners.
